It has been a hard fought battle but the Forum is back online and open for your pleasure!

We have moved from our host in the Netherlands. We now reside in Denmark... HELLO DENMARK!!!! If you live in Denmark pat your self on the back for still living in a free country.

I am very sorry it took so long to move but we had lots of complications. Its not all over with I am afraid. They got us on a temporary server. Once some time next week the REAL new server is online we will have to move but it should be a quick and painless process. Maybe 2 hours down time at most.

This has been a very difficult and strenuous time for me. I have not replied to a lot of emails and IM's because well frankly I did not want nor need the extra stress at the time. But we are almost all done and we are back in business how ever!

New Law in the Netherlands

We were in the process of upgrading to a better server when the government in the Netherlands pulled the rug out from under our feat. They decided to make sex with animals a crime and they also prohibited zoo/beast porn.

Because of this fact we are going to have to move our server out of the Netherlands. We have worked out a partnership with Python at Petlust and we are going to be moving forward together and pooling our resources together. I am greatly sadden by this new law, but we can not afford to stay in the Netherlands and know they could come after us. So we will just say good bye and thanks for the memories and move on to another country.

I look forward to our expanding partnership with Python and Petlust. I see good days ahead...

The internet chapter of the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement, a secret copyright treaty whose text Obama's administration refused to disclose due to "national security" concerns, has leaked. It's bad. It says:

That ISPs have to proactively police copyright on user-contributed material. This means that it will be impossible to run a service like Flickr or YouTube or Blogger, since hiring enough lawyers to ensure that the mountain of material uploaded every second isn't infringing will exceed any hope of profitability.

That ISPs have to cut off the Internet access of accused copyright infringers or face liability. This means that your entire family could be denied to the internet -- and hence to civic participation, health information, education, communications, and their means of earning a living -- if one member is accused of copyright infringement, without access to a trial or counsel.

That the whole world must adopt US-style "notice-and-takedown" rules that require ISPs to remove any material that is accused -- again, without evidence or trial -- of infringing copyright. This has proved a disaster in the US and other countries, where it provides an easy means of censoring material, just by accusing it of infringing copyright.

Mandatory prohibitions on breaking DRM, even if doing so for a lawful purpose (e.g., to make a work available to disabled people; for archival preservation; because you own the copyrighted work that is locked up with DRM

Stabbed youth was 'savaged by dogs'

Stabbed youth 'savaged by dogs'

A 16-year-old boy was killed in a gang attack in which two dogs were used as weapons, the Old Bailey has heard.

Oluwaseyi Ogunyemi, known as Seyi, died in Larkhall Park, south London, where he was stabbed six times following the dog attack last April, the court heard. His 17-year-old friend was stabbed nine times but survived the attack.

Chrisdian Johnson, 22, Shane Johnson, 20, both of South Lambeth, London, and Darcy Menezes, 18, of Clapham, London, deny murder and attempted murder.

Both victims had suffered apparent dog bites and were found critically injured in the park, the jury heard. Two others who had been with them were also stabbed.

Brian Altman QC, prosecuting, told the court two dogs had been used in the attack. He said: "What was so unusual if not unique about this case is that in the initial stages of the attack both these dogs were deployed as weapons.

"At the time of the attack both dogs were unleashed, and chased and then brought down and savaged their victims, giving their human masters an advantage, enabling them then to access their victims in order to stab them with knives."

The dogs used in the attack were an adult male Staffordshire bull terrier-bull mastiff cross named Tyson and an adult female Staffordshire terrier called Mia, the jury heard.
The court was told Tyson was owned by Chrisdian Johnson and Mia by Mr Menezes.

A police investigation revealed that two groups, each of about six youths and aged between 15 and 20, had been in the area of the Lansdowne Green estate earlier that evening. The two gangs had been "patrolling" the estate before merging to form the "attacking group" at the entrance to the park, the court heard.

Mr Altman said the victim was in a group of six from the nearby Stockwell Gardens estate who had come into the park. He said: "The attack was described by one shocked onlooker as vicious and as mirroring the behaviour of a pack of wild animals.

"Seyi Ogunyemi was stabbed to death therefore in what was a quite deliberate and planned attack."

All three defendants were "both present and participating in the general attack albeit in different ways," Mr Altman told the jury. "They were not alone. There were clearly others who, despite a thorough police investigation, have not been identified or caught."

Attacker throws animal semen over girls in Bury

Attacker throws semen over girls

A man who throws animal semen on schoolgirls is being hunted by police following a sixth attack. Detectives in Greater Manchester, described the assaults, all in the Bury area, as "disgusting".

The man follows young girls before they discover they have been smeared with the liquid. Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to.
The first attack was reported in November and the latest was last week.

Det Insp Lynne Vernon, from Greater Manchester Police, said: "We have six separate incidents and do not know the motivation behind them - while we do not want people to be frightened unnecessarily, we are taking these reports seriously.

"None of the victims was physically harmed in anyway but this is still a disgusting act and the person responsible must be caught.

"I'd ask people to take a good look at this image and if you know anything about this man, please contact us.

"He is not necessarily connected to all of the incidents but we would like to speak to him as part of our inquiries."

The first victim, a 14-year-old girl, was followed by a man on Kennedy Drive in Unsworth, on 13 November. He asked her the time and was standing uncomfortably close to her. When she got home, she noticed a sticky liquid on her tights.

The substance was analysed by police and later identified as animal semen.

A 15-year-old girl was smeared with liquid by a man on 7 December on Ostrich Lane, Prestwich. Later that day another 15-year-old was followed.

On 17 December a 14-year-old girl was in a shop on Mill Gate in Bury town centre with her mother when a man bumped into her and wiped a white substance on her bottom.

The next day, a man followed two 13-year-old girls on Bury Old Road, near to the M60 in Prestwich.

In the latest attack, on 25 January, a man approached two girls, aged 15 and 16, on Pinfold Lane, Whitefield, and asked them the time. One of the girls then noticed liquid dripping from her skirt.

In each incident, the offender was described as being a white man, aged between 25 and 35 and was carrying a bag.

And here is the article cut and pasted in case the link dies

AMSTERDAM (Reuters) – The Internet potentially will lose one of its main sources of bestiality videos under a ban approved Tuesday by the upper house of the Dutch parliament.

The new law bans human sex with animals, including in private situations where the animals are not injured, and prohibits the production or distribution of animal pornography, a summary of the law posted on the upper chamber's website said.

Given the illicit nature of the product, precise figures on animal pornography video sales are difficult to find, but the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad, in a 2007 survey, found that distributors in the Netherlands were responsible for some 80 percent of bestiality videos worldwide.

The bill was introduced in April 2007 and passed the lower house in July 2008, but took time to make its way through the upper house to final approval. It was not immediately clear how soon the law would go into effect.

Sex with animals had been legal in the Netherlands, as long as it could be proven the animals were not injured.
Three Reasons Society Shouldn't Rush to Condemn Bestiality

Opinion by Jacob M Appel
(March 13, 2009) in Society

Several critics of gay rights over the past decade—from Republican Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee and Colorado lieutenant-governor candidate Janet Rowland to baseball-player-turned-conservative-activist John Smoltz have drawn widespread condemnation for comparing homosexuality to zoophilia and for arguing that according legal protections to same-sex relationships will open the door to legalized bestiality.

While decent people everywhere were correct to criticize this flawed and highly inflammatory analogy, few—if any—critics of the comparison dared to challenge its underlying premise: that sex between human beings and animals should be illegal under all circumstances. In fact, despite the concerns of opponents like Notre Dame philosophy professor Ralph McInerny that the decriminalization of bestiality was “an idea whose hour will surely come, and soon,” the reality is that the past few years have witnessed a dramatic increase in anti-bestiality statutes.

Illinois and Missouri both recriminalized bestiality in 2002. Washington State made human-animal sex a Class C Felony in 2006, punishable by up to five years in prison. Even socially-permissive Holland—renowned for its progressive policies on marijuana and prostitution—banned such acts in 2008. Unfortunately, the legislative debate over these bans has lacked even the pretense of serious reflection or intellectual rigor. Instead, most lawmakers have relied upon widespread public repugnance to justify legal action.

As a co-sponsor of the Washington State law, State Senator Bob McCaslin, observed: “How could you be for (bestiality)? My God!” Such an approach differs greatly from the way our society addresses most legal prohibitions, where we place the burden upon those supporting such restrictions to prove that laws are necessary.

Three justifications have been advanced for recently-enacted bans on bestiality. The first of these reflects the concern of animal rights advocates, such as members of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, that bestiality is synonymous with animal abuse. Animals cannot consent in a meaningful way to sexual contact, they argue, so human-animal sex is akin to rape.

The problem with this reasoning is that animals cannot consent—under the legal definition of that term—to anything. We do not describe owning a pet dog as kidnapping, even when the canine is restricted to the inside of a home, although confining a human being in the same manner would clearly be unethical. What might make more reasonable sense is to speak of animal welfare. Certainly, to the degree that animals experience pain, an argument can be made for preventing such suffering. (Although I suspect that the vast majority of lawmakers who voted for anti-bestiality statutes do not eschew hamburgers, leather-goods or even fur—not to mention cleansers and cosmetics safety-tested on the eyes of lab rabbits.) But while (without becoming graphic) some such human-animal interactions are likely painful, others may well be neutral or even pleasurable for the animals concerned. As the father of the modern animal rights movement, Princeton-based philosopher Peter Singer, points out, “Sex with animals does not always involve cruelty.'" The trial of the British man accused of masturbating “Freddie the Dolphin” in 1991 offers one case where lengthy court testimony did not suggest suffering on the part of the animal. Of course, to the degree that such interactions do cause suffering, and such suffering can be proven, generic animal cruelty statues should provide ample means for redress.

A second set of objections to bestiality relates to the safety of the humans who engage in such acts. Washington State’s law was inspired, in part, by the tragedy of Kenneth Pinyan, a zoophile who was fatally injured while having sex with an Arabian stallion. However, opponents of bestiality have never offered evidence that such accidents are common enough to justify legislative action. Moreover, the uncomplimentary language these prohibitionists used to describe Pinyan at the time of his death suggests that his welfare was not their primary concern.

The final argument for prohibition—and likely the one that explains its strong public support—is that crossing the species barrier has been a sexual taboo in this country, at least publically, for many years. Opponents of bestiality often describe themselves as advocates of “human exceptionalism” and express the belief that intercourse with animals debases the dignity of human beings by blurring the lines between people and animals.? (They fail to explain why sex is unique in this manner—why playing Frisbee with a dog, or eating a corned beef sandwich, does not also blur such boundaries). Of course, nobody is suggesting that these critics be forced to sleep with animals, anymore than we would force vegetarians to eat lamb. However, the burden should be placed upon the prohibitionists to explain why a small minority of individuals with non-mainstream sexual interests pose a threat to our overall societal welfare.??

I leave open the question of how many zoophiles actually live in the United States: The research of sexologists such as Kinsey, as well as a brief survey of the Internet, suggest a considerable number. Needless to say, public animosity—and criminal statutes—likely keep them in the shadows.

Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis wrote eighty-one years ago in Olmstead v. United States that “the right most valued by civilized men” is “the right to be let alone.” Yet it is easy to let men alone when they do things our way. The test of a truly enlightened civilization is one that lets people alone, to pursue their own predilections, even when the majority of us prefer to live our lives very differently from theirs.

N.Y. Dairy Farmer Kills 51 Cows, Commits Suicide

Friday , January 22, 2010

AP News COPAKE, N.Y. —

State police in New York say an upstate dairy farmer shot and killed 51 of his milk cows in his barn before turning the rifle on himself.

State police found the body of 59-year-old Dean Pierson in his Copake barn on Thursday. A visitor found a note Pierson had left on the barn door that said not to come in and to call police.

State police would only say that Pierson was having personal issues.

The Columbia County hamlet of Copake is about 115 miles north of New York City.

Local farmers buried the cows outside the barn Friday. They would not discuss Pierson or what had happened, but one of the men said these are hard times to be a farmer.

February'sbill is going to be a little more expensive then normal. We are expanding to a new server to be able to better support the many sites we are working on. Plus the VPN, Chat, IM and other services. Next months bill pays for two servers the current one and the new one then it drops again for March. We have most of the 500eu bills paid. We are down to needing about 225eu. The bills have been a bit high becuase we also had to pay the annual domain fees for all our domains and some more license fees for software support were do as well. This all contributed to the high bill.

Eleven year-old Austin Foreman has already had a very lucky 2010. He was in his back yard on Saturday evening gathering firewood when his golden retriever, Angel, came in between him and a charging cougar.

As the dog and big cat fought, Foreman ran inside. His mother called the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and an officer was arrived on the scene in Boston Bar, British Columbia within a minute. It didn't look good for the valiant dog -- by then the cougar had Angel under a porch and was biting her neck.

The policeman fired his weapon, hitting the animal twice in the rear, but it wouldn't let go. It took two more rounds at almost point blank range to kill it.

"I feel very, very lucky. If it wasn't for my dog, I don't think I would be here," Foreman told the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. "She was my best friend, but now she's more than a best friend — she's like my guardian now."

You can say that again, Austin. You hear stories like this, usually second hand, and it's hard to believe a domesticated dog would go to war with a vastly superior predator to protect the humans she lives with.

But there it is: one brave pooch put her life on the line. Pack instinct? Maternal Instinct? Hard to say. Either way it's powerful proof that the animals we live with can still show flashes of their primordial selves.

(Angel survived the fight with moderate puncture wounds on her head and right hind leg and should make a full recovery.)

Hippo on the loose...

Hippo escapes from Montenegro zoo

A female hippo, Nikica, is on the loose in a village in southern Montenegro after escaping from a flooded zoo.

The two-tonne animal, considered one of the world's most dangerous, reportedly swam over the wall of her pen during heavy flooding in the Balkan country.

The owners of the private zoo say they have to wait for flood waters to recede before trying to capture her.

Nikica has been wallowing in the water in Plavnica village, where she is a popular tourist attraction.

Nikola Pejovic, one of the owners of the zoo, says her movements are being tracked by the zoo's private security and that she is "extremely tame and peaceful".

He told AFP news agency that she would probably stick to a path about 1km (0.6 miles) long, leading towards neighbouring houses in the village, near the capital Podgorica on Lake Skadar.

The hippopotamus, which is native to Africa, is one of the heaviest land animals. It is a plant eater that can weigh up to three tonnes. Fiercely territorial, it can run faster than a human over short distances, and has powerful teeth and jaws.

English lessons for 'Polish' dog

BBC
English lessons for 'Polish' dog
A dog caused confusion in an animal home when he failed to respond to basic commands - until staff realised he could only understand Polish.

Staff at the RSPCA centre in Oldham, Greater Manchester, originally thought Cent the collie was deaf.

But when they looked into his history they realised he came from a Polish family and so did not "speak" English.

So staff brushed up on Polish commands and, four months on, they say Cent is now bilingual and ready for a new home.

"When he came in he wasn't responding to the basic commands," said care assistant Karen Heath.

Polish dog commands:
*Sit - siad
*Come here - do mnie
*Heel - noga
*Stay - zostan
*Fetch - aport

"We couldn't understand why at first but when we've looked at his records and his history he has come from a Polish family.

"So obviously we've gathered from that he doesn't understand the English language, so therefore he won't understand our basic commands."

Staff turned to the internet for phrases Cent could recognise - although they are unsure of the pronunciation.

"We've learnt a few basic ones which are sit - siad - and come - do mnie - and he seems to understand what we're saying," added Ms Heath.

"Obviously, maybe he's having a chuckle because were pronouncing it a bit wrong... but we've got to work alongside that to teach him the English versions of them as well."

Cent has been in the kennels for about four months and needs a new home. But staff have assured would-be adopters that they do not need to speak Polish.

Sheep Gives Birth to Human-Faced Lamb

"A sheep gave birth to a dead lamb with a human-like face. The calf was born in a village not far from the city of Izmir, Turkey.Erhan Elibol, a vet, performed Cesarean section on the animal to take the calf out, but was horrified to see that the features of the calf's snout bore a striking resemblance to a human face.

"I've seen mutations with cows and sheep before. I've seen a one-eyed calf, a two-headed calf, a five-legged calf. But when I saw this youngster I could not believe my eyes. His mother could not deliver him so I had to help the animal," the 29-year-old veterinary said.

The lamb's head had human features on – the eyes, the nose and the mouth – only the ears were those of a sheep.

Veterinaries said that the rare mutation most likely occurred as a result of improper mutation since the fodder for the lamb's mother was abundant with vitamin A CNN reports.

A goat from Zimbabwe gave birth to a similar youngster in September 2009. The mutant baby born with a human-like head stayed alive for several hours until the frightened village residents killed him.

The governor of the province where the ugly goat was born said that the little goat was the fruit of unnatural relationship between the female goat and a man.

"This incident is very shocking. It is my first time to see such an evil thing. It is really embarrassing," he reportedly said. "The head belongs to a man while the body is that of a goat. This is evident that an adult human being was responsible. Evil powers caused this person to lose self control. We often hear cases of human beings who commit bestiality but this is the first time for such an act to produce a product with human features," he added.

The mutant creature was hairless. Local residents said that even dogs were afraid to approach the bizarre animal.

The locals burnt the body of the little goat, and biologists had no chance to study the rare mutation."

Man gets three years for horse sex

Man gets three years in prison for sex with horse
November 5, 2009 A US man caught having sex with a horse in a South Carolina stable has been sentenced to three years in prison.

Multiple media outlets report that Rodell Vereen was sentenced on Wednesday after pleading guilty to buggery.

A judge also ordered Vereen to get counselling and stay away from the Lazy B stables when he was released.

Authorities charged Vereen after a woman set up a surveillance camera and caught him on tape having sex with her horse in July.

Horse owner Barbara Kenley said she staked out the stable and caught Vereen sneaking into the barn days later, holding him at shotgun point until police arrived.

Kenley had seen Vereen before. He pleaded guilty last year to having sex with the same horse and was put on probation and ordered to register as a sex offender.

First confirmed H1N1 case, in a canine

Quote

WHITE PLAINS, NY (AP) -- Experts say a dog in suburban New York isthe nation's first confirmed to be carrying the same strain of H1N1(swine) flu that is infecting humans.

American Veterinary Medical Association spokesman Michael SanFilippo said Tuesday that the diagnosis of the 2009 H1N1 virus wasconfirmed at two labs.

The 13-year-old mixed-breed male is recovering. He was taken to theKatonah Bedford Veterinary Center in Bedford Hills on Dec. 13.

Medical Director David Sachs said he had the dog tested for H1N1 flu because its owner previously had the virus.

Experts have said it appears the flu can spread from humans to animals but that there's no evidence humans can get it from pets.

Cases have also been confirmed in pet cats and ferrets.

So, according to the multiple reports i've seen now, H1N1 is transmissible via canine. Something to consider, if you feel you might be sick with flu like symptoms, or someone in your family/close circle of friends, you might take a few extra precautions, for the sake of your dogs......
